Loved this book! A great clean fantasy story with awesome characters.
A Trinity of Chosen by JP Behrens is an awesome portal fantasy book that I really enjoyed reading as an ebook.
The story is about a kid named Billy who is super sad after losing his mom and feels like nobody notices him. After getting into a huge argument with his stepmom at the mall, he literally turns invisible. The only one who can see him is a blind girl named Miranda, who has been stuck invisible in that mall for fifty years since she can see his aura.
They end up escaping into a totally different world called Avarath that is filled with magic and danger. Once they get to Avarath, things become crazy. They end up teaming up with a friendly giant warrior named Tuac and a wild nine year old kid named Swift.
It turns out they are all part of an old prophecy called the Chosen of Avarath. They have to work together to stop these creepy bad guys called Mother and Father, who are hoarding all the magic for themselves.
The author does a great job making you care about Billy's loneliness and Miranda's strength. The ending wraps up with good lessons about friendship and bravery, making it a fun and clean fantasy read.
Thank you, NetGalley, Budget Shakespeare Aspirations, and JP Behrens, author, for this ebook. review consideration. All review opinions are my own.
