Headline: Absolutely adorable! It's such a cozy read.

Honestly, you have to grab this book! It is about a boy named Mack who travels from Texas to Arizona for a family camping trip.  This trip was part of his birthday gift, along with a cowboy hat and boots.

His dog runs off after Mack takes him out to use the bathroom during the night.  Mack chases him, only to stumble upon a genuinely friendly extraterrestrial being. My favorite part is that it avoids all the usual scary alien tropes. It is just pure fun, curiosity, and laughter between the two completely different characters. The ending wraps up so nicely, proving that friendship is just about having a blast together. Perfect for any kid who looks up at the night sky and wonders what's out there!  I thought this was a cute story for kids.  I recommend it.
