I just read Candy Apple Kisses, and it was great read. I really enjoyed this book. It is a clean, romance about two best friends named Emily and Jake, that were raised together since they were young.
Emily left her hometown after her parents were killed in a plane crash, and doesn’t come back until years later. Then she doesn't come back until Jake asks her to come back and help him with his families apple orchard. She then comes back to help Jake by using her artistic abilities with their 100 year old anniversary. He also has new competition with a new apple orchard and they need to do something to make their festival better than the competition.
They have great chemistry, and it is really sweet watching them finally realize they have feelings for each other while working side by side.
The only downside for me was Jake’s ex-girlfriend, Claire. Claire is always starting drama and trying to get in between them.
But the autumn feeling and the happy ending made up for it. The story ends with the orchard festival details and the great relationship ending, leaving you feeling good. If you love sweet, small town romances, you should definitely give this one a read. This was a great read for me, I really loved it.
