I just finished reading Soul Journey by Dr. Barbara L. Peacock. She shares a lot of her life stories and uses them to help you look back at your past to see where God has been working, even during the really hard times. What I loved about it, is that it is hands-on. Instead of just reading, you are actually answering journaling questions, praying, and mapping out your own spiritual story. It takes time and energy to do the exercises, so it might feel slow if you just want a quick read, but it is totally worth it.  

This book provides a sense of closure by showing you how to carry these lessons into your everyday life. By the time you finish the pages, you walk away with a framework of your faith, a sense of purpose, and a deeper relationship with God. 

I recommend this book if you are feeling stuck in your faith and want an encouraging way to sort through your journey.
